The PD18D bumper, well known for its reliability and widespread use, is a standard in most utility truck fleets. This donated unit will be installed on one of Tech’s training vehicles where it will be used to practice real world scenarios.

State Tech’s program in Missouri is known for its electrical distribution systems and utility systems technician training. Students take part in a full immersion, utility industry program: climbing utility poles, building and maintaining electrical distribution systems, operating equipment such as directional boring machines, hydrovac trucks, and mini-excavators. Students also gain real-world experience through paid internships with potential employers.
